Kasongo Myra Mweemba-Chileshe is the Managing Partner of Sukwana Mweemba and Partners, bringing over fourteen years of standing at the Zambian Bar to every matter she handles. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Baccalaereus Juris from the University of Namibia, where her LLB dissertation on the right of self-defence under the UN Charter earned a distinction and was subsequently published by Lap Lambert Publishing House in 2010.

Kasongo joined the firm in October 2011 and was appointed Partner in April 2017, a role she has led with quiet authority and an unwavering commitment to client service. Her practice spans conveyancing, civil litigation, family law, employment law, alternative dispute resolution, company secretarial work, and commercial transactions. She is an Advocate of the Superior Courts of Zambia, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a member of the Law Association of Zambia.

Among her notable engagements, she was part of the core team engaged by the Bank of Zambia in 2013 to analyse, review and harmonise financial sector laws for the Republic, covering Building Societies, Cheques, National Payment Systems, and Finance Leasing legislation. It is the kind of work that reflects both the trust the firm commands and the breadth of counsel Kasongo brings to complex, high-stakes matters.

Mr. Sukwana Lukangaba joined the firm as an Associate on 1st October 2010, following a distinguished career in the civil service where he served as Legal Aid Counsel, Parliamentary Counsel, and Assistant Senior State Advocate over a combined period of five years. That public sector foundation gave him a breadth of legal exposure rarely found in private practice — from legislative drafting to frontline legal aid — and it continues to inform the depth and precision he brings to every matter.

Appointed partner in December 2013, Mr. Lukangaba has been instrumental in building the firm's commercial and advisory practice. His experience spans corporate law, civil litigation, and legal drafting, with a particular strength in matters requiring careful navigation of Zambia's regulatory and legislative landscape. He is admitted to practise before all courts of the Republic of Zambia and is a member of the Law Association of Zambia.

Called to the Zambian Bar as an Advocate of the High Court for Zambia in 2016, Theophilus Tukwayo Gausi obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of South Africa in 2013. He then worked with First National Bank Zambia Limited from 2013 to 2018 when he opted to join private practice. During his time at First National Bank Zambia Limited Theophilus assisted in the provision of legal advice to the Bank's in-country Board of Directors, Board Committees and other departments. In addition to this function, he was entrusted with the conduct of litigation for and against the Bank.

Following his transition into private practice Theophilus has continued to represent corporate clients in litigations, assisting businesses such as Syngenta Zambia Limited, Richmond Finance Limited and York Farms Limited to prosecute their claims. During this time he furthered his studies and obtained a Master of Laws Degree (Corporate and Commercial Law) in September of 2024, graduating at the top of his class with a Merit.
